Kyle Busch Scores Playoff Win at Richmond

Coming from the rear of the field due to hitting the wall in qualifying, Kyle Busch picked up his 50th Cup win and has advanced to the next round of the Playoffs with a win in the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway Saturday night. Also locked into the Round of 12 after Richmond is Martin Truex Jr., who won both stages and finished 3rd in the race to advance on points, joining Round of 16 winners Brad Keselowski and Busch.

The inaugural running of the Bank of America ROVAL 400 is this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway and some believe the cutoff race may be the “wildcard” in the Round of 16. After two, full-day tests earlier this season, words still being used in the garage looking ahead to Sunday are “unknown,” “mistakes,” “narrow,” “challenging,” “nervous,” and “treacherous,” but most agree it will be a good show for the fans. Live coverage from Charlotte begins at 11:00 Sunday morning on FM 95.
