	A man has designed a calendar that will drive bubble wrap fanatics crazy. Stephen Turbek is selling a poster-size calendar covered with the plastic bubbles. Customers can pop a bubble each day to mark each passing day. "It's perfect for obsessive people," said Turbek. "As long as they don't pop the whole year on the first day they get it." *TAYLOR SWIFT will be the musical guest this week on NBC's Saturday Night Live.Taylor will join host Neil Patrick Harris on the first new SNL of the year, airing January 10th. Taylor joins Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton* and Tim McGraw as one of the few country artists who have appeared on the show since its debut in 1976. KEITH URBAN will hit 58 cities during his 2009 North American concert trek including Nashville, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto and Vancouver. Joining Keith on the road will be rotating opening acts Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Glen Campbell, and the Zac Brown Band. RUMORS ARE FLYING faster than a puck on ice that Carrie Underwood has a new man -- Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher. The gossip site, JustJared.com reports that Carrie was in Toronto to watch Mike and his team, the Ottawa Senators, play the Maple Leafs. She was spotted in the VIP box with Fisher's family and was even shown on the Jumbotron throughout the game.

Barry Reynold's house has been for sale for more than six months. Priced at almost a million dollars, the 5500-square-foot home has sat with hardly any bites. Having already purchased another home, Reynolds decided to give potential buyers an incentive: a new Lexus. "I think it's awesome. I think it's the sizzle for the steak," said broker Pam Harris. She said by offering the new car to potential buyers, Reynolds was making his real estate offering more attractive to the limited number of home buyers during the current economic crisis.

Carol's Kitchen for 4-6th Graders Carol's Kitchen for 4th-6th Graders is January 24 & 31, 2009. Galesburg's very own culinary expert, Carol Moore, will teach young chef's a variety of skills from basic cutting and dicing to coordinating a simple meal plan from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Lake Storey Pavilion. The first week is focused on hands on skills and practice for the following week when the meal comes together. Participants will receive a t-shirt when pre-registered by Tuesday, January 11, 2009. Pre-registration is required. There is a fee of $28 per person and includes all meal supplies. Call the Galesburg Recreation Division at 345-3683 for further information.
