FM95 is proud to present local high school sports teams with our Hometown Heroes Award.

Throughout the school year, we present one team in each sports season a trophy and a $1000 check for their athletic department. During each sports season (Fall, Winter, & Spring) 3 area high school sports teams are nominated each week.
You can call in and vote for your favorite team or fax votes into our studios or vote online. The team with the most votes by 6pm on Wednesday of each week is named “Hometown Heroes of the Week."
Every team that wins the weekly award is presented a plaque for their school’s trophy cabinet, all team members receive Hometown Heroes t-shirts, and the team goes into a random drawing at the end of the sports season with all the other weekly winners to determine the Hometown Heroes of the Season.

Hometown Heroes of the Season win a huge trophy and a check for $1000 to their school’s athletic department!!!
