In December, we conducted an online survey requesting opinions from listeners in regards to live coverage of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races on FM 95. A huge thanks to everyone that took the time to give us their input.
I’m happy to announce that we will continue to bring you the racing action in 2015! We received responses from all over west-central Illinois and the comments really showed a strong interest in being able to listen to the races on FM 95. The majority of the comments stressed the importance of FREE, easy access to live coverage of the races that could go with you no matter if you were working around the house, out in the field, traveling, or at your workplace. Radio is a great way to keep updated with the racing action without having to plunk down in front of the TV for several hours.
The only change in our NASCAR coverage will be on Tuesday nights. FM 95 will no longer air the call-in talk show, “NASCAR Live”. But other than that, we will continue to cover NASCAR on FM 95 with:
live coverage of all NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races: the first race is the Sprint Unlimited, February 14, 2015!
Monday Morning Race Refresher: Monday mornings at 7:10 and 8:40 with a quick recap of the weekend’s race
NASCAR Today: weeknights at 5:40 with the latest racing news
Garage Pass: weeknights at 8:40 with even more racing news
Racing Country: Saturdays 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM with a mix of Country music and interviews with NASCAR drivers and Country stars
