Over the last several weeks, the FM 95 Christmas Wish List went from 95 gift ideas to one final gift that was given away. When FM 95 listeners qualified for the Grand Prize drawing they had to remove something from the list that they did not want to have a chance to win. The “final four” on the Wish List included $1,000 in Illinois Lottery tickets and $1,000 gift cards to Farm King, Menards, and Target.
Two popular gifts were eliminated early on in the process. Both the “$1000 in cash” and the “$600 for you/$600 for your favorite charity” were removed from the Wish List very early during the qualifying this year.
But in the end, the gift that remained on the list was the $1,000 Menards gift card. From the 94 qualifiers, the winner drawn during FM 95 Mornings on Christmas Eve was Nancy Kling of Sherrard!
When Eric Hanson contacted Nancy, she was in shock but extremely happy with the prize. She mentioned that the $1,000 Menards gift card would be put to good use as they had begun a kitchen remodel project.
