Kevin Harvick Advances to Championship 4 with Win at Texas Motor Speedway

11/08/18 Update to this story:  NASCAR Revokes Kevin Harvick’s Automatic Berth in the Championship 4

Kevin Harvick swept the stages and led a race-high 177 laps in his win at Texas on Sunday. After Pole Winner Ryan Blaney passed Harvick on a restart late in the race, Harvick battled his way back and ultimately passed Blaney for 1st place on an overtime restart. Harvick now joins Joey Logano as drivers who have solidified their spot in the championship race at Homestead on November 18.

Next race is Sunday at ISM Raceway, the Can-Am 500, the final race of the Round of 8. Live coverage of that cut-off race begins at 12:30 PM from Phoenix on FM 95.
