Jan Abel grew up in a cornfield outside of Wataga, graduating from Galesburg High School in 2020, and Monmouth College in 2024. Jan actually became interested in radio after touring the Galesburg radio station and being on-air with FM95 as a teenager. She would go on to work for Proud Fighting Scots Radio throughout college before joining FM95 full-time starting in June of 2024.
When not at the station, Jan can be found trying to write yet another book, or watching a documentary.
