From all of the high school teams that were voted in by their student body and community as Hometown Heroes of the Week throughout the season, it was the Abingdon-Avon High School soccer team drawn as our Fall 2023 Hometown Heroes of the Season with Martin, your local John Deere dealer, Advanced Plumbing and Mechanical in Monmouth, and the Regional Office of Education!
We met up with the team again and this time presented them with a trophy and a $1,000 check for their high school’s athletic department!
