CTE Night at GHS

The month of February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month. To help raise awareness of the programs offered at Galesburg High School, the Galesburg Area Vocational Center (GAVC) will be hosting a Career and Technical Education Career night on Tuesday, February 11 during the Galesburg High School boys’ basketball games from 6-8 p.m.

There will be representatives on hand from local businesses including Birkey’s, OSF and more to discuss the careers that are available in Knox County. Instructors from the CTE classes will also be available to answer questions.

You will have the opportunity to take home items made by the GAVC Culinary classes and Computer Numeric Control (CNC) classes during a fun live auction at halftime of the varsity game! Don’t miss the fun!
