5th Annual Shootin’ Hoops ‘n Smilin’

This family-centered basketball game features the GJSHS faculty vs. our very own Galesburg Silver Streaks Special Olympics basketball team. Our Silver Streaks Special Olympics team just won the State Competition in Bloomington a few short weeks ago so we hope the staff has been practicing. It will be quite the show!
The Knox-Warren Transition Planning Committee is also holding an informational night at the event with a great group of organizations ready to help, guide, and answer all questions related to transitioning out of the high school setting into adulthood. The event will also have a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, concessions, and halftime events led by GJSHS’s Student Council. Doors open at 5:30 and the game starts at 6:00. We hope to see you there at Thiel Gym in GJSHS!
