2022 Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Illinois

The 2022 Galesburg Polar Plunge will be held at Lake Storey on Sunday, February 27th. You can register now online by clicking this link: Polar Plunge – Galesburg Region F

While we are moving forward with plans to plunge into Lake Storey, we understand that the date, time, or various circumstances might prevent you from joining us. We are thrilled to announce that you can also #PlungeYourWay when it’s convenient for you during Plunge season.
As long as you are being safe and having fun, the options are endless, for example:
- Making snow angels in your swimsuit
- Snowball fight with friends
- Dumping a bucket of snow on your boss at work
- Water gun fight with family
***Remember to stay out of open bodies of water, be safe and always make sure you have someone with you! Document your #BeBoldGetCold endeavors and send your pictures to us!
No matter how you choose to Plunge, you will receive an official Polar Plunge sweatshirt if you raise the minimum of $100. (Remember to share your DonorDrive page on social media after registering and DO NOT set up a Facebook fundraiser, GoFundMe, etc as a way to raise money). Additional incentives will also be available at the $250, $500 and $1000 fundraising levels.
