Audition Dates for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmark of originality, charm, and elegance.  Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Directed by Kenny Knox, production dates at Prairie Players Civic Theatre are July 17 – 19 & 24 – 26.

An adult play, this production will include some children in the cast. Auditions will be held at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 South Seminary, on Friday, May 15, at 6:00 P.M. and Saturday, May 16, at 1:00 P.M. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 2:00 P.M. Roles are available for students in 5th grade and up through adults. Please prepare a song of your choice for auditions. You will be asked to read a selection from the script and learn and perform a short dance sequence. A pianist will be on hand to accompany those auditioning.
