City of Abingdon Fourth of July Celebration

Come out for a full day of fun, Saturday June 30th for The City of Abingdon’s First Annual 4th of July Celebration! Events going on all day throughout the City of Abingdon. Here’s a list of events:
All Day: Car & Tractor Cruise-in at Abbe Lanes parking lot
7a-10a: Pancake Breakfast at Abbe Lanes Bowling Alley
10a: Kids decorated non-motorized bike, scooter, wagon, stroller parade at the Abingdon Clock Tower on Main Street
11am: Kids Scavenger Hunt on Main Street
11a-2p: Spoon River Smokehouse BBQ serving sandwiches
Noon: Skeeter’s Place Grass Volleyball tourney begins
2p: Kids activities on Main Street
2p: Activities starting at Abbe Lanes including: $1 bowling & $1 shoes, a Cook-out, Bounce Houses for kids
4p: Bags Tournament at Abbe Lanes
7p-11p: Live music from The Rockn Papas at Abbe Lanes Parking Lot
9p: Fireworks Show!
Donations are greatly appreciated and are being accepted at local Abingdon Businesses and at Tompkins State Bank in Abingdon. In the event of rain, activities will be held on Sunday, July 1st.
