Knox County Right to Life is sponsoring its Second Annual Essay Contest for area high school students, with cash prizes up to $200.00.

The contest is open to high school students in Knox County who attend school, are homeschooled, or students who have attended Joshua Camp. Students must submit an essay not to exceed 500 words on the topic “What can I do to build a generation that values human life?”

The awards presented are as follows: First Place – $200.00 plus a plaque; Second Place – $100.00 plus a plaque; Third Place – $50.00 plus a plaque. The awards will be presented at the Festival of Life on October 23^rd, with the winning essay read by the student.
