Men’s Retreat

Fairview Center United Methodist Church (rural Monmouth) invites young men and men’s groups to a Men’s Retreat on Saturday, August 11, 2018. The purpose is to come together for a day of mission and spiritual strengthening.

9:00 a.m. starts with registration and fellowship. Our featured speaker for the day will be Rev. Matt Henson, who is Executive Director and Lead Evangelist for Living the Adventure Ministries.

Cost is $20.00 for men and $10.00 for Jr. High and High School, which covers the speaker and lunch. We are asking all who attend to please bring a pair of men’s socks and personal care items (soap, shampoo, deodorant) for the retreat mission project, which will be taken to local men’s shelters. The retreat will take place in our pavilion, so you might want to bring a comfortable lawn chair. There’s always a nice breeze blowing through!
