Teacher’s Bag Day

A Teacher’s Bag Day will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 22 at Knox County Community Artisans, Yours 2 Create, located at 2188 Veterans Dr. in Galesburg. The event is in collaboration with Galesburg Community Arts Center and Dick Blick.

All teachers active and retired are invited to attend the event.

For Active Teachers

1. Fill a bag for $25 from items donated by Dick Blick, Galesburg Community Arts
   Center, Yours 2 Create, Retired Teachers and Friends of Teachers
2. After you have filled your bag, more bags can be filled remembering other
   teachers need items also. Please just take what you only need for your class.
3. Check out Yours 2 Create and use us throughout the year.

For Retired Teachers

If you have any items you wish to donate after cleaning your classroom,
please drop them off any time Yours 2 Create is open.

Please tell the volunteers if the items are directly for the teacher’s area. We are
a donation store of craft and art items.
